Debra Baker, RxN, CNP, CCRC has been a Certified Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner since 1976. After graduating from the University of Southern Colorado School of Nursing in 1972, she received her nurse practitioner training in both Adult Healthcare and Women’s Healthcare Specialties at the University of Colorado School of Nursing. She has worked in private obstetric/gynecology practices, a general surgery practice, as a civilian gynecology provider at the United States Air Force Academy and as a certified Lamaze instructor.
Debra joined Blue Skies Center for Women in 1999. She enjoys providing all types of women’s healthcare, from adolescence through menopause, but has a special interest in the area of infertility. In our practice she provides evaluation, counseling and treatment, including intrauterine insemination, to women encountering difficulty conceiving. As a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, Debra is also responsible for coordination of the national and international pharmaceutical clinical research studies conducted through our practice. These studies evaluate potential new medications and treatments for a variety of conditions related to women’s health issues. (See Clinical Research Studies) She also serves as a sub-investigator for those clinical research projects.
