Stephanie Fowler, MD, FACOG was born in Munich, Germany and then lived in several areas in the US while growing up in a military family. She attended Colorado State University, graduating in 1985. Stephanie and Dr. Andrew Fowler met at CSU and were married in 1986. She continued in graduate school at CSU and then went on to earn her doctorate in medicine from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in 1990. Next, she completed internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1994. She then served as a physician in the US Army for eight years, eventually becoming the Assistant Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Evans Army Community Hospital. Stephanie is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She obtained board certification in 1996.
Over the course of medical school, residency training, and Army service, Stephanie and Andrew had three children. The family stayed in Colorado Springs after Stephanie and Andrew completed their Army services. Together, they established Blue Skies Center for Women in 1998.
Along with her professional achievements, Stephanie is most proud of her three wonderful children and enjoys traveling with her family. She is a horse owner and actively competes throughout Colorado in Hunter/Jumper shows, qualifying for the National Horse Show in 2005.
